  4. RCA apparently forced them into re-recording these numbers and weren't interested in any new material. The bonus disc, that comes along with the re-release of this rare album has a couple of originals and is worth a few bucks, just to check out where their heads were and /5(13).

The songwriter Mort Shuman commented on the Searchers cover in UK #1 Hits by Jon Kutner and Spencer Leigh: "Well, they got the words wrong - it's 'Your tasty kiss,' not 'Your fair sweet kiss' - but I thought it was fine. They had a different sound to the Drifters but it wasn't necessarily inferior. It was so infectious and that is all you wanted from those singles.".
